Field Trips And Activities

Campus PhotoSome trips and activities require a fee for admission and transportation (provided by bus or UCI vans).

  • Enjoy educational and cultural field trips: city tours of Los Angeles and San Diego; the J. Paul Getty Museum of Art; as well as visits to local theaters, concerts and special events.
  • Join in recreational field trips; Disneyland, Universal Studios, Las Vegas, Magic Mountain, Sea World, snow skiing, and beach parties.
  • Frequent sporting events; Los Angeles Lakers basketball, Anaheim Angels baseball, and Los Angeles Galaxy soccer.
  • Join the Anteater Recreational Center and participate in regular, on-campus recreational games and activities; soccer, volleyball, basketball as well as rollerblading, snow skiing and surfing clubs.

TOEFL/TOEIC Testing

  • UC Irvine is an official test center for the international TOEFL and the TOEIC.
  • English language courses help you improve your English language skills and score higher on the TOEFL and TOEIC.
  • Enroll in a TOEFL test preparation workshop each quarter for a nominal fee.
  • Students in levels 4-7 also have the opportunity to take the institutional TOEFL or TOEIC.
